Each lock is opened by its own individual key

With keyed alike systems all cylinders are operated by the same key. This can include different types of locks. eg. Cylinders for doors, padlocks etc.

Common entrance suites are ideal for flats or student accommodation. It allows each key holder to use their flat key to open a common entrance, but only their own flat. Also a key can be produced that only opens the common entrance. Ideal for maintenance of common areas.
